Week 4 Reflection

This week we have been doing passion project.
Sam and I have chosen to learn a different language, We chose Spanish.

This week we have been learning positive and negative numbers, We have been really interested in learning them. We have also been practising for our end of year tests.

(positive and negative numbers is one of the questions on the test)

This week we have been carrying on our poems..

Week 6 Reflection!!

This week I have learnt mass conversion..I actually find it pretty fun, once you learn how to do it.

But I really want to learn them a bit more, all you do is convert kg into grams or grams into kg.

I would like to keep practising so I can get better at at it because practice makes perfect!!!

We have also done some really cool and interesting poems. My favourite one is the memory poem I did my memory poem about Basketball…. It's my favourite sport and here is my best memory about basketball…..

Week 1-2 Reflections.

Week 1:
In week 1 we learnt how to change a percentage into a decimal, here is an example of what we have been learning!


Week 2: In week 2 we started this website called banqer, it teachers us how to be smart with money.
We also learn.. interests, payment, income and real estate.

Creative Writing

WALT: Write a piece of descriptive writing.
Success Critera

We are learning to use interesting languages to make the reader feel like they are there.
Here is my descriptive writing, hope you enjoy!

Mum, Dad, Sarah and I were on our way to Christchurch.

We were visiting my aunt, on our way there we stopped in Arthur's Pass!

“Boy it was cold”. It felt like a cold winter's night almost like the glaciers,

We went back into the car with the heat on trying to get warm.

After like 10 minutes the car was so hot, almost as hot as Justin Bieber! It was getting too hot now we had to wind the windows down, it’s almost like a fervour it's  hot but it’s cold and then it's cold but it’s hot!

We went inside the shop to get something to eat and drink, the pies there are so good!!

Ok yes, where like 20-30 minutes till we're in Christchurch but I’m feeling a little sick maybe it was from that pie.

Finally we arrived in Christchurch!
